Elliot R. Polland, a matrimonial lawyer with more than forty (40) years of experience in divorce and related areas of matrimonial law, graduated from Cornell University in 1965, and from New York University Law School in 1968.

Since being admitted to practice law in New York in 1969, Elliot R. Polland has dedicated the majority of his professional time to representing men and women in their matrimonial law needs, from prenuptial (antenuptial) agreements, post nuptial and separation agreements, divorce, separation, and annulment, as well as custody and visitation, child support, spousal support and paternity, in the Supreme Court and Family Court of the State of New York.

Mr. Polland has been a member of the New York chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 1981, as well as a member of the New York State Bar and New York County Lawyers Associations. He has authored an article published in the CPA Journal entitled, “Should Accountants Be Involved in Divorce Actions”, and also an article published in the National Law Journal.

Mr. Polland has been a lecturer on various aspects of matrimonial law, and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, as well as the United States District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Mr. Polland has been named Super Lawyer in Family Law since 2010, as well as being named Top Attorney in Family Law in the New York Metro Area.
